My friend and I are trying to figure out if there’s a way to use remapper to let them use some adaptive stuff with an Xbox 360. My first thought was to write custom firmware for remapper to emulate a 360 controller, but I don’t know if I have the knowledge to make that happen and when I searched a little it seemed like the descriptors for that controller are still not completely understood and it might not authenticate. Then I had the idea to take apart a 3v 360 controller and put the board in a box with remapper, then solder wires to the board to be able to have remapper send 3v signal from the GPIO pins directly to the controller. Then they could use whatever controller they like to plug into the remapper. It seems ridiculous to go from individual signal wires to serial data to signal wires AGAIN and back to serial data but I haven’t thought of another way! Then I remembered the 360 controller needs variable voltage for the analog inputs (sticks and shoulder buttons). I’m not sure if pulse width modulation would work for that but we can try. Does remapper support it? Or does anyone have other ideas?
