Caps lock key and LED?

Hi all

I have noticed if I use caps lock as the input you lose the ability for it to do its normal function that it would do on the keyboard but if I switch that input the caps lock LED the function comes back but the problem is then it’s like it gets out of sync with the script so sometimes it’ll be off when you think it’s on and vice versa Is there anyway to do both behaviors or if you use the caps locks

Sorry, I didn’t understand what you’re trying to do. If you want Caps Lock to also work as Caps Lock you can make a separate Caps Lock → Caps Lock mapping.

If you have the input to caps lock and output set layer 1 and sticky

When you trigger the Caps Lock, should you see the Caps Lock LED light up on the keyboard?

No, unless you specifically configure it to through some additional mappings.
