Hi All, got my adafruit feather RP2040 with type A host today, only to realize that my dareu mini vertical wireless mouse was still stuck at 250hz after the override. So just to confirm, HID remapper does not work on wireless mouse over 2.4ghz? That sucks. Thanks.

I Should have clarified. The device works of course. What I meant is I still can’t override it’s polling rate to 1000hz from 250hz, it’s still stuck at 250hz even after I tried to override it on HID Remapper Configuration and saving settings, then unplugged and plugged the rp2040 back in. Mouse polling rate checker | Frequency test | CPS Check still shows 250hz.
Yeah, that’s unlikely to work on a mouse that uses a wireless dongle. We poll the dongle more often, but the mouse still sends the inputs to the dongle at whatever rate it has hardwired.
I was gonna ask, so even though the mouse is still reporting at 250hz, but since HID remapper is still polling the dongle at 1000hz, does HID remapper still help with smoothing and less jitter of the mouse?

Yes. It is the limit for Full Speed USB devices in general.
