How to set the red button on the Logitech Trackman Marble FX

I would like to use the red button on the Logitech Trackman Marble FX with Hid-remapper. Could you please tell me how to set it up?

Is this a PS/2 trackball that you use with a PS/2-to-USB adapter?

If the adapter doesn’t pass the red button through then HID Remapper can’t see it.
